How to vote abroad
How to vote:
Under the new rules that are coming into force, South Africans abroad can now register to vote and apply for a special ballot through a VEC10 form online.
If you have previously been registered to vote in South Africa, you are already on the voter roll, and should not need to register - ONLY register for the VEC10 form.
Once your VEC10 form is approved, you must bring BOTH your PASSPORT and ID BOOK/CARD to the polling station at the foreign mission where you have been instructed to cast your vote.
You can only vote on the date specified in the election time table.
Self-Determination Allies
Other political parties that support self-determination for the Cape will likely emerge as options before the 2024 elections and we will also be providing profiles on them.
